Some 160 billion emails are sent daily – more than 2 million per second – by 1,2 billion email senders. 97% of it is spam. (and most of that ends up in my inbox...)
Eskimos use refrigerators to keep food from freezing.
On this date in 1953, workers assembled the first Corvette in Flint, MI. The first completed production car rolled off the assembly line two days later, one of just 300 Corvettes made that year.

Now for some history and trivia: On this date in 1985: The legendary Route 66, running from Chicago to Santa Monica, Calif., was decertified, the victim of the Interstate Highway System.
Did you know: In Chinese, the KFC slogan "finger lickin' good" comes out as "eat your fingers off".
To "testify" was based on men in the Roman court swearing to a statement made by swearing on their testicles.
