Good morning Phoenix! How are you? It’s time for the last pre-Halloween Top 10 list. This one is a good one. You might just want to skip over it if you are afraid of…. *drum roll* CLOWNS!!

I bring you the Top 10 Scariest Clown Sightings!

10: Chainsaw Clown, Quebec, Canada. Man in a clown suit wielding a chainsaw walks out on the road in front of a car. Luckily, he can’t get the chainsaw started right away, and by the time he does, the occupants of the car have done some serious high speed reversing.
9: Leaning Clown, Florida Clown standing in the brush alongside the road just staring at the occupants of a car. The people in the car pretend they’re in the Daytona 500 at that point and scram.
8: The 12 Camera Clown, Texas This clown appeared at a home that had a total of 12 security cameras. It first appears trying to open the front door holding a knife. It then goes by the garage, through the gate, and into the back garden, still holding the knife. He then tries the back door to no avail. The footage ends with the clown heading back towards the garage.
7: The Cornfield Clown, Indiana This video was uploaded by a student at Indiana University that heard reports of a clown on the outskirts of town. He gets out of the car and explores the cornfield, and seeing nothing, drives off, only to look in his side mirror and see the clown standing in the middle of the road.
6: The Machete Wielding Menace, Sparks NV Two men in a car come upon a clown in a white mask holding a machete and standing perfectly still. The commentary in the video is actually pretty hilarious.
5: The Lancashire Clown, Lancashire England A man caught a clown standing under a streetlight in front of his house. He continues to stand there, even while the man and his mother hurl verbal abuse at him, then he slinks off into the shadows.
4: The Knock Knock Clown, Topeka KS Caught on CCTV outside a house holding a machete. The clown spots the camera, and smiles.
3: The Car Wash Clown, Boston, MA The clown just stands in the bay of the car wash, then begins to tilt its head creepily, and does an eerie wave. At that point, the person doing the filming hightails it out of there.
2: Pumpkin Smash Clown, Jacksonville FL This one is another caught on CCTV. He shows up in a creepy clown outfit bearing a bunch of balloons. Then he drops them and picks up a pumpkin. Looking into the camera, he then begins to smash the pumpkin to bits with his bare hands.
1: Free Hugs Clown, Agawam, MA A clown on the sidewalk in a horrifying mask holding a bunch of balloons and holding a sign saying “Free Hugs”, as in free hugs with a knife in the back.

Good morning Phoenix!  It’s time for Friday Fright Flicks!  Today’s selection premieres in theaters today – Boo!  A Madea Halloween.   Personally, I think this ought to be a hoot!!

Plot:

Madea winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.

Trivia:

·         Shot in six days.

·         Tyler Perry says the idea was conceived after watching the film Top Five. In that film, Chris Rock's character enters a movie theater and sees movie goers lined up for a fictional Tyler Perry movie about Madea fighting ghosts in a haunted house. That movie was also called "Boo!"

·         Mike tornabene AKA "Dom Mazzeti" from the YouTube channel brosciencelife will have a role in this movie

·         Yousef Erakat AKA "FouseyTUBE" from YouTube will have a role in the movie.

·         The latest Tyler Perry movie to be released in theaters in two years (the last Tyler Perry movie was The Single Moms Club) and the latest Madea movie to be released in theaters in three years.

Good Morning and TGIF Phoenix! It’s time for another installment of Friday Fright Flicks as we count down to Halloween.
Today’s installment is a recent release: Phantasm: Ravager. It is the final installment of the long-running Phantasm series which began in 1979.
Plot:
Reggie is wandering through the desert seeking out his friend Mike and the evil The Tall Man. Along his journey, he is hunted down by the dangerous spheres and stumbles upon the gorgeous Dawn. Out of the blue, he finds himself in an institution with Mike explaining that he has dementia and then in another dimension. Where is Mike?

Trivia:
• The first "Phantasm" film in 17 years. The last film was from 1998 "Phantasm IV: Oblivion".
• The shortest of all the Phantasm films.
• The only Phantasm film to have a mid-credits scene.
• In the beginning of the first Phantasm film, Jodi says to Reggie, "What a way to break up a trio." At the end of Ravager, when Reggie and Mike are getting in the car with Jodi, Jodi says "What a way to start a trio."
• Angus Scrimm's last film. He played “The Tall Man”, the evil villain in Phantasm and all the sequels. He passed away January 9, 2016 at the age of 89.
There are no goofs listed for this film yet. Perhaps someone will find one.

Afternoon Phoenix friends and family! How about some Thursday Trivia?
This is 10 things you *probably* can't do (although some people can).
10: Tickle yourself (your brain is aware of what you're trying to do and prepares your body for it, effectively shutting off the tickle response)
9: Touching your nose with your tongue. Now most of us can't do that unless we have a tongue like Gene Simmons of KISS.
8: Sneezing with your eyes open. You just can't.
7: Putting your entire fist in your mouth. I'll admit, there are some that can do that, making them extremely popular at parties.
6: Raising one eyebrow without moving the other. Very difficult to raise only one and not move the other.
5: Wiggle your ears. Some folks can, but most of us can't.
4: Gleeking. The ability to activate your salivary glands to spit out a burst or fountain of saliva.
3: Licking your elbow. You just tried, didn't you?
2: Paralyzed finger. Place your hand on a flat surface, bending under the middle finger. Keeping it in that position, raise your thumb, then your index finger, then your little finger. Now try to raise your ring finger. Won't raise, will it?
1: Draw the number 6 while making clockwise circles with your leg. Most of us are making a counter clockwise move when drawing the number 6. Your brain tries to compensate and synchonize the movement of your hand and leg to get them to go the same way. This is the same reason why it is hard for some people to pat their head and rub their stomach at the same time.

Good morning Phoenix! It's Friday, so it's time for Friday Fright Flicks!
Today's selection is a movie from 2014 - Ouija.
Plot: A girl is mysteriously killed after recording herself playing with an ancient Ouija Board, which leads to a close group of friends to investigate this board. They later find out that some things aren't meant to be played with, especially the 'other side'.
Trivia:
The name is actually pronounced 'wee-ja', contrary to the popular 'wee-gee'. Charles Kennard, founder of the company manufacturing the boards, claimed he learned the name "Ouija" from asking the board what it wanted to be called.
Far from being ancient, the Ouija Board was patented on May 28, 1890.
The film's tagline, "Keep telling yourself it's just a game," was used for several years as the advertising slogan for the Ouija board game.
Some cast members are said to have experienced supernatural occurences since the production of the film Ouija ended. It is said to be influenced by the making of the film.
Another theory of where the name of the Ouija Board comes from is that it is the French and German for "Yes": Oui-ja. The Board has Yes and No answers as well as the alphabet.
Goofs:
Near the beginning of the movie, Debbie walks up the stairs prior to hanging herself. Part way up the stair, the top she is wearing reveals her bra-strap and bared right shoulder, in contrast to how the top is shown during the rest of the opening scenes.
In the films second scene Debbie hangs herself using a string of lights from her bedroom, in every shot after this the lights remain in their original location.
When Laine goes up in the attic through the small ceiling hatch, there are very large objects in the attic that would never have fit through the hatch, including an easy chair and a barrel.
When Pete got slammed into the Mirror it cracked, but in the next scene the Mirror wasn't cracked or damaged, and nothing happened to his hand.
After the girl shuts the back door, she jumps at the sound of the gas ring turning on by itself. The shot shows this from above with a kettle next to it. In the next shot, she turns off the gas and the kettle is on top of the ring.
A sequel to this movie is coming out on October 21st. This should be interesting. Have a fangtastic Friday my friends!

Good morning Phoenix family and friends! It's time once again for a top 10 Thursday!
Today's selection: Movie Roles that nearly made stars quit.
10: Daisy Ridley - Star Wars. The director told her that her performance was wooden. She nearly quit.
9: John Cena - 12 Rounds. The scene where he had to rappel down a skyscraper nearly made him throw in the towel.
8: Al Pacino - The Godfather. He became an outcast among the crew because they didn't like his performance. Francis Ford Coppola convinced him to stay.
7: Hayden Christiansen - Star Wars. Almost gave up because he didn't like his role. He nearly gave up acting after that.
6: Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio - Abyss. Not only did she have to have CPR in a scene, she had to be pressed, pushed, slapped, and screamed at, all while laying on a cold metal floor. She stormed off the set when James Cameron said the scene had to be reshot due to a camera malfunction. However, she came back and reshot it.
5: Shelley Duvall - The Shining. Unknown to her, she set a Guinness World Record for the most takes of a scene. Stanley Kubrick wanted 127 takes of the scene where she would fend off her husband using a bat. After 100 takes, she was dehydrated and exhausted due to the crying and excessive stress levels. Her hair even began to fall out. Take 127 was perfect.
4: Carl Weathers - Rocky IV. It felt too real when he was thrown across the ring by Dolph Lindgren and he stormed off the set and was gone for 4 days. He was convinced by Sylvester Stallone to return and finished the film.
3: Lauren Cohan - Walking Dead: (I know - it's not a movie, but still...) The scene where she had to perform the emergency C section on Lori bothered her so much she discussed it with Steven Yeun (Glenn). After much consideration, she did the intense scene.
2: Zoe Saldana - Pirates of the Caribbean. As a struggling actress, she said people disrespected her due to her number on the call sheet thinking she wasn't important. She almost quit.
1: Michelle Rodriguez - The Fast and the Furious. The original vision for her character was much different, and she didn't think she could do the role. Fortunately, it was reworked.
