2012: The first human to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, died after suffering complications from a heart bypass.
Hmmm… a lot of famous people died on this day. The famous might want to think about being very careful today.

1926: Silent film star Rudolph Valentino died in New York at age 31.
1927: Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti were executed for the murders of two men during a 1920 robbery, despite worldwide protests. (The Sacco and Vanzetti murder trial is a fascinating read )
