BB 1/1/16

Good morning and Happy 2016 Phoenix family! I hope you had a great and safe celebration.
If you partied a little too serious, here are a few hangover cures from around the world! I can’t vouch for their effectiveness, and some sound like they would be worse than suffering with the hangover! Enjoy!
• Hungary: Sparrow droppings in Brandy. Yup. I typed that correctly.
• United States: Prairie Oyster: Tomato juice with one raw egg, a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and two dashes of Tabasco sauce.
• New Zealand: Mince and cheese pie with a glass of chocolate milk.
• Philippines: Balut, a fertilized duck embryo, poached.
• Mongolia: A pair of pickled sheep’s eyeballs in tomato juice.
• Scotland: Irn-Bru sausage. Sausage made with Irn-Bru (a Scottish carbonated soft drink) instead of water.
• Namibia: Buffalo Milk: Cream, clotted cream, two types of rum, and crème liqueurs.
• Peru: Fish Scrape: Lime juice, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, fish stock and scraps.
• United Kingdom: English breakfast – “Fry Up”. Usually back bacon, eggs, sausages, toast, tomatoes, mushrooms – all fried. Black pudding, hash browns, and baked beans are optional. There are regional variations.

So, dear friends – which one will you choose to cure what ails you today?
Have a fangtastic day! <3 Brock V"""V
