BB 9/16/15

Good morning Phoenix – it’s Hump Day, and that means more Wacky Wednesday!

This isn’t as wacky as possibly tear provoking as you look at this list and wish you had kept some of your toys.

This is the list of the top 20 most valuable toys – most of which are from the late 70’s and early 80’s – starting with number 20:

20: Super Soaker Water Gun from the 90’s: It retailed for $20. A mint condition, still in box sold for $300 on eBay.
19: Original Nintendo Game Boy – retailed for $89, and recently sold for $500.
18: Original 1998 Furby – retailed for $70, and recently sold for $700.

4: GI Joe Manimals Vortex $20,000
3: Nintendo Stadium Events $22,800
2: 69 VW Beach Bomb Hot Wheels $72,000 (if you are a fan of Pawn Stars, the owner of the prototype took this one in to the pawn shop on a recent show. Its estimated value as determined by one of Rick’s experts was $100,000. The owner wanted to sell it to finance his daughter’s wedding, but they couldn’t agree on the price, as Rick was only willing to pay $70,000 to maintain his profit margin. This one is considered the Holy Grail of Hot Wheels.)
1: GI Joe 1st Prototype Action Figure (face modeled after Sean Connery) $200,000

Have a fangtastic day!
