7.23.13

Good afternoon Phoenix! Sorry I am so late posting today, but the boss man keeps me hopping. Anyone miss me? *grin*
And yes, I know today's Tuesday....
Today in history:
1829: William Burt patented a forerunner of the typewriter.
1885: Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th President, died at Mount McGregor,NY at age 63.
1995: The Hale-Bopp comet was discovered by Alan Hale and Thomas Bopp.
Strange laws: In California, it is a misdemeanor to shoot at any kind of game from a moving vehicle, unless the target is a whale.
A person is not eligible to become governor in Pennsylvania if they have participated in a duel.
It's against the law for a woman to drive in a housecoat in California.
Hope everyone has a great Midnight Breed day!
