Jul 1
Good morning Phoenix! I hope you're all enjoying Mat and Nova's book. I know I did. Please – no spoilers yet. We want to give everyone the chance to read it for themselves. Isn't a new book by one of your favorite authors an adrenaline rush? And in just slightly over a month, we have Jordana and Nathan's book to look forward to.
In honor of that rush, July will be Adrenaline Junkie Month!
An adrenaline junkie is someone who is addicted to thrilling and fear inducing situations. The act of conquering the fear creates an endorphin rush that simultaneously energizing and relaxing. The natural high leads adrenaline junkies to seek out ever bigger thrills and excitement.
Kade and I are well versed in being adrenaline junkies. We live with the fear of Lucan's boots up our ass daily when we pull pranks. *grins*
Please note – Phoenix is not endorsing any of these activities, and assumes no responsibility should you decide to try one of these activities and put yourself or others in danger.
Ok – legal BS out of the way. *grins*
Joke of the Day:
If Men Ruled the World... Laws
- Lifeguards could remove citizens from beaches for violating the "public ugliness" ordinance.
- Car rental agencies would rent tanks.
- Telephones would automatically cut off after 30 seconds of conversation.
- It would be perfectly legal to steal a sports car as long as you returned it within 24 hours with a full tank of gas.
- Get Out of Jail Free cards would be considered legal documents.
Quote of the Day:
I believe there should be a better way to start each day... instead of waking up every morning.
Random Daily Factoid:
If Manhattan had the same population density as Alaska, there would only be 15 people living there.
Adrenaline Junkie Rush for July 1, 2014:
Cage Diving with sharks: Providing all of the adrenaline, with none of the danger, at least in theory, this is an ideal rush for the adventurous tourist. Great White Sharks are apex predators that can grow to over twenty feet. Even jumping into an underwater cage, you still wonder about the strength of the steel bars when in the presence of such a fierce giant at feeding time. Great White encounters are available off the Western Cape of South Africa, where the sharks come to feed on their natural quarry of seals.
Have a fangtastic day!  Brock
