BB 7.21.14

Good afternoon Phoenix – damn - *looks at cell phone* It's Monday again. How'd that happen? Oh well….
Trivia for Today:
On this day in 1925, in the "Monkey Trial", John T. Scopes was found guilty of violating Tennessee state law by teaching evolution.
Joke for Today:
Little Johnny is always being teased by the other neighborhood boys for being stupid. Their favorite joke is to offer Johnny his choice between a nickel and a dime -- Little Johnny always takes the nickel.
One day, after Johnny takes the nickel, a neighbor takes him aside and says, "Johnny, those boys are making fun of you. Don't you know that a dime is worth more than a nickel, even though the nickel's bigger?"
Johnny grins and says, "Well, if I took the dime, they'd stop doing it, and so far I've made $20!"
Quote for Today:
It isn't fair: the caterpillar does all the work, and the butterfly gets all the glory. – George Carlin
Random Daily Factoid:
Ernest Vincent Wright wrote a novel, "Gadsby", which contains over 60,000 words – none of them with the letter E!
Daily Adrenaline Rush:
Disclaimer: MBPhoenix does not endorse these activities, and will not be responsible if you attempt them!
Airsoft: Participants eliminate opponents by hitting each other with spherical non-metallic pellets launched via replica firearms. Gameplay varies in style and composition but often range from short-term skirmishes, organized scenarios, military simulations, or historical reenactments. Airsoft began in Japan in the 1970's.
The minimum safe level of gear required to participate includes a pair of Ballistic eye wear goggles to protect the eyes. Full face masks cover the entire face, protecting the forehead, teeth, chin, and ears.
Please wish Marijke Wygerse a very Happy Birthday! We love you doll! Hope it's a great day!
Have a fangtastic day everyone!  Brock
