8.8.13

Good morning Phoenix! We're another day closer to the weekend. Don't forget - you still have time to sign up for the Scavenger Hunt - Hit Kade up if you wanna play!
On this day in:
1876: Thomas Edison patented the mimeograph machine. (you used to sniff the exam papers - admit it!)
1969: Sharon Tate, wife of director Roman Polanski, and four others were murdered by members of Charles Manson's "family."
1974: President Nixon announced he would resign the following day as a result of the Watergate scandal.
Strange laws that make you go "hmmmmm???"
Wisconsin: It is illegal to sleep naked.
New Jersey: It is illegal to wear a bullet-proof vest while committing a murder. (say what??)
Kansas: If two trains meet on the same track, neither shall proceed until the other has passed. (can you say "checkmate"? I knew that you could)
Have a fangtastic Midnight Breed day, and have fun with the Scavenger Hunt!
