8.2.13

Good morning Phoenix, and TGIF - we made it to Friday!
On this day in history:
1790: The first U.S. census was completed, showing a population of 3,929,214 people.
1876: Wild Bill Hickok was murdered in Deadwood, S.D.
1923: Warren G. Harding, the 29th president of the United States, died in San Francisco.
In honor of last night's fun, today's strange laws all have to do with theaters:
It used to be against the law to go to the theater in Gary, Ind., after eating garlic.
It’s illegal to take a lion to the movies in Baltimore. *Remember this Kade, when you're out having fun with your lion!*
In West Virginia, if you wear a hat inside a theater, you may be fined (Repealed 2010 - at least this one isn't still on the books today)
I wish everyone a speedy end to their work day, and a fantastic Midnight Breed day!
