8.9.13

TGIF Phoenix! We made it to the weekend - I do hope everyone is enjoying the scavenger hunt - I know I'm enjoying the responses.
On to today's trivia:
On this day in:
1854: Henry David Thoreau's Walden, recounting his experiment in solitary life on the shores of Massachusetts' Walden Pond, was published.
1974: Vice president Gerald Ford was sworn in as president following Nixon's resignation.
1995: Jerry Garcia, lead singer and guitarist of the Grateful Dead, died.
Strange laws:
Nevada: It is illegal for any member of the Nevada legislature to conduct official business wearing a penis costume while the legislature is in session. (Now you know someone had to have done this for them to make a law against it! *snorts*)
Arizona: You may not have more than two dildos in a house. (did they hire dildo checkers to enforce it?)
Utah: No one may have sex in the back of an ambulance if it is responding to an emergency call. (interesting.....)
Have a fangtastic Midnight Breed day everyone!
